Amigo's, sorry for the latish reply but the missus told me to get out on our decking for a few drinks, get pissed and chat!!! Booze I can do, chat... still trying to find it in the dictionary.

Anyways
1) @Cycrow, It was the ships Monsoon & Cotton Tender.
@ Tensin, I have a savegame from 'way back when' and its safe in a Microrape backup :lol: only kidding its on my pendrive.

If its a bug that needs to be looked at I hope that this is the result of that bug (in pic) and Cycrow if you need me to test some more for you, just say the word

4) Ok so what You and Cycrow are saying is that the ships will only change their appearance, but any existing previous versions stats wise will remain until 'Whittled' out through battle and crashes.

Thanks for clearing that up guys. Im more the wiser now :roll:

Cycrow to help you if possible, I tried to use the auto update function for ships and when the same 2 came up for newer version to update to (as in pic in post above) I can sucessfully update the Cotton Tender on its own and it doesnt crash, but when I just select the Monsoon on its own it is this one that crashes every time

Edit: I asked a question earlier and never got a reply so here it is again the form of pic. Why are there ships missing and do any of your guys know of problem ships which they could be? Also is there a way to fix this problem?

Edit2: I have now so far found from investigation that some of these missing ships in shipyards are the following - Roger Young / Vorlon BigDreadThingy / certain Star Wars Ships (although dont know exactly which ones yet)

tthe missing ships could be ships that u uninstalled but wern't removed fro mthe game.

im working on the scripts that will remove any uninstalled ships from the game but not finished them yet

On that Q Cycrow thanks for the reply. I can let you know this which may help you (I hope) I thought the same thing, about if I had uninstalled a ship from my game and had not been removed from my game totally. So what I did is I took a copy of a savegame I have that had been saved prior to me ever doing any adding XSP's using you ship installer, and only had the Xtended M7's in it. Clean game then. Soo I then went into the X3 folder and deleted the Ship Installer folder that your program creates when merging XSP's to an existing Mod. Clean slate for adding ships. Using my Xtended Mod as the Base Mod again and also having a 'Pre Cycrow Ship Installer' savegame I started again. Went to Tensins website and downloaded the usual ships I like and then installed them with the installer, so all up to date copies from Tensins website, and activated the New mod in the splash screen as normal and exactly same result. I figured out roughly which ships it was as I mentioned above. Only reason I dont know which Star Wars Ships are the culprits here is because I hadnt used them previously until this last attempt\test and although from using the other ships I had a sneaky suspicion as to which ones it was (and I was right :D Roger Young and Vorlon thingy) with the starwars ones they were new to me and I couldnt be bothered to go through them all. Anyways I gues if you are working on a 'Uninstalled ship, game remover' function in the Installer program then thats fantastic and I look forward to it Cycrow mate.

Mod ? This is not a mod, it's a repository of ships created by various modders and rebalanced; if you want one or more ships you just download the relative XSP file(s) and install them with Cycrow's Ship Installer.

yeah it is

the installer will create a new mod file which combines the selected base mod with all the ships that you have installed

Mod ? This is not a mod, it's a repository of ships created by various modders and rebalanced;
In fairness, there are only about a dozen rebalances... though many are well-balanced from the original authors... and right now my focus on Balgot's is getting those rear turrets working.

I tried to Add the ships... Everything worked fine... But when I try to create the ship in Game there is only an empty Cube and no ship... And the ship-name isn´t displayed to (instead it shows something like Read-Text 17-0000...) ... oO

Have I done something wrong? oO

Based on the error, I'd say you installed one of the problem ships. Try a different one (most work, a few don't), and let me know which one you used that didn't work. If I've got one not even displaying the model still, I need to fix it or take it down.

By-and-large you only asked one question (why are blank entries showing up in the shipyards). Cycrow gave an answer, though based on your follow-up, it may be more of a problem with some of the XSPs. I've not had a chance to look at those or reproduce the problem, and so I fear don't have a response.

Its has been said that 'Stroppy' is something that you can look up in the dictionary and see my face next to the definition. Im kinda like a 'Tryin to be friendly and patient wolverine' I tend to snap & bark at people, even though I dont mean much by it.

I found a really basic, really stupid problem with my Hammerhead.XSP and fixed it. I'd like to know if I accidently fixed the rear-turret problem or not (if not, I think I'm gonna switch it off Balgot's turret to a standard one). Can't run X3 here at work. Can anyone test and let me know?

Sorry dude, Im at work too. One thing I wondered though and I cant remember, is did the Hammerhead in the series have a rear turret?

Edit - Tensin everytime I go to your website the format\layout has changed slightly, whats the matter you get bored easy :lol:
Seriously though I have had a look and its by far a better layout now.

I tried out the "Vorlon Cruiser", "Minibari Sharlin" and the "High-guard Glorious Heritage"... All these three didn´t work... oO

Constant effort of upgrades. I'd really like to move over to DHTML created from a database... gotta go get a book on making those.

Glad you like the new layout. It's intended to be easier to get at stuff... especially since I'm goning to be the mirror for the XFP ships, it's gonna get bigger.
