How to get yasur at 7.5?

I have posted this on main forum and someone suggest me to check post here. But haven't found anything useful. Could any one help me? I even bought the "X4: Community of Planets Collector's Edition" agian on GOG. But no, nothing happen.

I have followed every step here

Here's the step-by-step guide to get access to a Community of Planets Collector's Edition Yasur:

1. create an Egosoft forum account if you don't have one yet
2. make sure you have registered your game in the "Egosoft settings" of your forum account control panel (Steam Link or GOG registration code)
3. start up the game, go to "Online Features" and enable Venture Extension downloads
4. restart your game and wait for the download to complete
5. go to "Online Features" and make sure you are logged in (using your forum account)
6. start or load any game and go to the "Player Information" menu
7. go to the "Inventory" (backpack icon) section on the left and select the "Venture Inventory" tab at the top
8. at the bottom of the menu you will find the button to enable access to the Venture Extension for the current game sessions and all subsequent savegames made from it
9. click the download icon next to your Yasur and it'll appear next to you (or docked at your current station)

But I haven't find "Venture Inventory" at step 7,there is only "Inventory"

Is it not possbile to get yasur this way at this moment?

As other people in your original thread indicated, it's working for them. Did you try the suggested step of unlinking and relinking your Steam account to your forum account?

Yes I did, twice, but not working.

One thing you've not indicated: is your game modified at all? There are some mods, particularly UI mods, which could prevent this menu from appearing.

I had notice this problem, but I had delete all mods in extensions folder. And to prevent any remains, I had reinstall the game incase any mods file left. But it seems added a new option called "Protected UI mod" at 7.5? I'm not sure if it will effect on this problem.

That's a "mode" not a "mod". It prevents certain unsafe mods from working, but there are now new methods for those mods to work that don't require the unsafe methods.

The fact that you have UI mods installed almost certain explains why you can't access the option.

But I have deleted all the mods before trying to claim the yasur. It's not enough to just delete the mod? What should I do?

Some mods leave files behind that are not in the extension folder. You'll have to take that up with the mods' authors; I can't help you with that.

I have bought an entire new version of《X4: Community of Planets Collector's Edition (2024)》 form GOG rather than steam,and download it to a totally defferent drive, registered the game here with the Game Registration Code and all other procedure. And the problem remained in same form. Ther is no "Venture Inventory" next to "Inventory".

I just followed the steps, exactly as listed in your quote, on the Steam version and it worked fine. Somewhere along the line you must be missing one of those steps. My only suggestion at this point is for you to provide step by step screenshots of what you do and how each screen looks for you, so that someone can spot where you've gone wrong.

I am having exactly the same issue here... Followed all steps completely, and still no Venture Inventory button appearing.

I have included a link below to an Imgur gallery, showing my game is unmodified, correctly linked and contains the DLC required.

I also have both the GOG and Steam versions of the Community of Planets Collectors Edition, so not sure why it picks up neither.

We've checked your account and the associated online activity logs, and everything seems to be working as intended. We've also tried again to reproduce the problem, without success.

First, could you confirm which gamestart you're using? The Online Inventory tab won't appear in things like tutorials or Timelines scenarios; it will only appear in a "normal" game started using a standard gamestart or a budgeted custom one.

Second, we would also like to see whether there's anything unusual about your savegame. Could you upload that somewhere for us and provide a link? See the first thread at the top of the forum for suggested hosting sites.

Well, it shouldn't have an issue at all, seeming as I started a brand new save game. I've never had the Yasur before, as I've never been able to claim it.

I started the standard Boron start, and it also hasn't worked with my old Terran start either. I will try and create a budgeted custom start just to be sure, but I have never once seen the Venture Inventory button appear, ever.

Yes, we understand that you can't see it, but since we can't see anything wrong with the online data and we can't reproduce the behaviour here, it's very difficult for us to progress with solving the problem. A savegame, even if you make it just after you start the game, might contain some trace of data that would help us.

Hi,

We have been investigating this. Could you ensure that your system time is accurate (enable automatic/network time where possible) - We are working on making this less sensitive in future but hopefully that might be a temporary workaround. Please let me know if it helps.

Thank you, PG! Your suggestion seems to have fixed the issue! After messing around with the automatic time settings a little, and a few restarts, it appears that the Venture Extension is now working, and I can access my Yasur(s) at long last!

I really appreciate your persistance with this, and a big thank you again to the Egosoft team members who worked it out!
