Hmm, I'm afraid I don't understand your reply, I mean I get a message every time the 5 minute warning comes that just has " Null " in the middle in the line.

You get an independent message, or the subtitle which comes up says null?

Well, no message is meant to come up...

I might need you to look in the files, if you can activate the script editor and open up ej.pss.resourcechecks that'd be great.

At the bottom it should say 'display subtitle text' or similar... is there also a send message command there? If so then the script is adding bits in itself... :S

Yes. I doubt you'll find much...

I'm running it to 3 hours myself, question is, did you get it at the start of the game, when it first says it as the menu pops up?

Ok the only message I got was the Pirate PSS being replaced... so...

That might be the message, a PSS replacement. Why you'd get Null I don't know... is it repetative?

In your pilot name, but I doubt that would help... I haven't got the SPK version so...

Reinstall it and try again?

A proper re install would be to check for ships parked, turn off the AI, quit the game, uninstall the spk via the Manager, start afterwards, let the game run a bit, save game, quit game, re install the spk and all, restart, enable the AI, wait to see the messages?

Not really, it would be, disable, quit, redownload in case it was a corruption problem, then install that and start it up again.

In fact, if all goes well you might just be able to download and replace all the files without even turning the plugin off in your game, but it's risky...

Is there a way to get just the transporter trading software? I found that in my game the PSS seemed to cause issues for me. Not sure why though.

In the main interface, just buy the Transporter software and not the PSS software. That will allow the use of the Trasporter device for trading.

More important question for me is, what issues is it causing you? what is happening in your game.

If you give some details i can try to find out what is causing it and fix it.

I will retest it again in a bit. I think that I noticed slowdowns when I had the PSSS part active. So that is why I really only wanted to license but again I will check it out further once things are running properly again. I am waiting for FDN, PM, etc. to be updated.

I get a message that asks if I want to clone a station just after I receive the message saying EJON freighters are about to arrive. What do I do with that message? Also is Version 1.2 for German text only, what is the current version for English?

Close message (which you shouldn't get), kick computer really hard and yell "that damn MarCon has done it to me again!"

You shouldn't get that message but it is using my 'Clone Station' Script to put ecomomy boost stations in place. that message should be skiped if called by another script.

v1.2 is the latest version, but the only difference from v1.1 to v1.2 is the inclusion of the German text file.

See my previous post (2 or 3 above about null messages).

I've tried every iteration clean install including a complete
new X3 TC from the 2.0 DVD up, but still seeing the null message
at the the 5 minute warning. ( including a fresh game start up )

I'd have to add the false Clone Station message to my bug list
also. ( see above)

I even tried the Xp mode that comes with Win 7 Ultimate, but the game
failed at the start up.

1. Could this be a Win 7 x 64 problem?
2. Is that false Clone station message coming from your Utility
with the same name?

I think this package is a great idea.

On a different note, what does it take to get docking permission
down at the Weaver's Tempest PSS Station? :)

Though I do not run this script anymore I never had messages every 5 minutes and if you look at my sig it will answer your Win 7 question. I am not running Ultimate just the Pro version but it is 64bit.

Sorry to hear you are having these problems. Unfortunatly i have no idea why atm.

Win 7 64 should have and undue effect.

The clone station in the script is a direct copy of my clone station utilty, it was written for this purpose, to be used stand alone or to be called by another script to add copies of stations to the universe.

I'll look into these issues and see what i can come up with as to why.

As for Weavers Tempest, the only way to dock will be if you have sufficient notoriety for them to let you dock.
