if you wanted to try and build it yourself, you could get the source from SVN

then you can find the library in libspk/src and the programs in Tools/src

Mmmh, I am using the Gog-version of X3 Farnham's Legacy and starting the plugin manager the first trime leads directly to the manager not recognizing X3FL.exe but looking only for and insisting on X3TC.exe, X3ap.exe...

@Cycrow, your plugin manager doesn't recognize the X-game you were part of making? *grin

btw: It has been some time playing X3 for me... Are there many important plugins/mods already included in FL or do I need to install them all anew? Apart from a trillion other, is for example the TC-bonuspack included now or does it still need manual installation?

Latest version should work with FL. Are you sure you are using 1.6 ?

Sorry, still need to refind my ways with X3 and this forum... it has been a few years.

Thank you Cycrow for this wonderful tool. I'm running the GOG version of X3 with all addons (AP/FL). Right now I am playing TC and I have been trying to install some xsp ships through the PM. I just found out thorugh the X3 Editor somehow the PM is using the TShips from the addon .cat files instead of the TC .cat files when installing the xsps.. This leads the ships in TC to have much higher hull values (same way ships in AP had much more hull than in TC) for example than they orignally did. This nakes me to believe every other type file used by the PM is also from the addon folders and not vanilla TC.

've uninstalled/reinstalled the xsp ships, deleted TShips generated by PM in the TC's types folder, and deleted the pluginmanager.dat and verified the correct directory being selected multiple times. But everytime I open and close the PM it generates the same TShips files (from the addons and not TC) in the TC's types folder. Is it possible to correct where the PM is looking for the .cat's?

Hi guys its been a while. got my AP running again but with troubles. adding spk files through the plug in manager gets you a good assortment in TC to play with. BUT almost nothing in AP. got marine training running by adding it as an open file not spk and then opening or starting it in the Scripts Manager in game through the name option. now it works. did the same with the colored bailing. no configuration available so need to use it as is. configuration files on my plugin manager only help for certain things, not everything, and in game there is no option for configuration of any mods or files in AP. using the manager light for my modding in TC works great, in AP, next to nothing works including SCS and ship high jacking. :roll:

well got some playing in today in AP. the bailing extension runs OK, no control over it though so a lot of junk sitting around. didn't get far enough for marine training to work eyt but its in game and on a list showing it working. then finally got a transporter and computer chips, ready to pirate some terrain ships...ahahahah...and then it hit me.....there is no configuring files on AP so no hotkey setup for mods. so hacking games aren't going to work because you cant set a hotkey for it...similar to the bailing extension that's running wild now, no controls to change settings. everything works great in TC but not in AP, it figures.

I wonder of the hotkey manager works? might go look and see.

found a slightly newer version of the Manager so gained a tiny bit there, but no difference. TC runs everything well, but I'm not playing that, AP runs a few things but no control over anything. Configuration doesn't work no choosing buttons to activate or how to adjust settings on things like the bailing extension. either it doesnt work at all or runs wild, because there's no way to control it. used to always reduce the setting to almost 1 on everything, more realistic. but originally it was set with fighters bailing a 6/10 or something, with no armor or hull. so now there's half a dozen in every war sector not worth taking at maybe 3% hull. oh well maybe just play TC then, at least it works better than this.

OK last comment on this...mainly because its funny...lol I deleted my whole set up on my desktop and went back to steam instead figuring I had nothing to lose. then added all my favorite mods like before and....most of them works. not bailing extension...well it does but no configuration files for it. config does see just about everything else though, but sadly my game has as many as 10 ships sitting in all the war sectors now, mostly all wasted hulks with less than 5% hulls on them. don't have any hacking software now, the link for it doesn't work anymore. half the stuff in the mod folder doesn't work now, so cant ask for too much after all these years. does seem to have improved boarding working though very expensive but its something at least to play with. :roll:

missing dll file hey bro love your work but am having problems installing plug in manager 1.3 as well as 1.6 got them from at least 2 sources but get the same message when i try to run them it says spk.dll was not found try downloading from a trusted source or something close to that i got them from the egosoft site can u help please?

I am having issues trying to get it to change to the X3AP or X3TC

I tried clicking on X3 TC in the steam folder when i clicked ok It said "Unable to locate X3/X2.exe" i even tried it with in the documents where Egosoft had its own folder and it still had the same thing....
