Actually if you could stay with me I think some help with CODEA is needed.

OK so as I said before I am -3 to Boron but I am not actually hunting them.

I have a TM set up in a Split sector with 4 attack fighters and i have ordered the TM to patrol the sector.

I have Boron set to friend on the TM and in the CODEA options I have told the CODEA software not to look after friend/foe identification (i have tried all sorts of settings)

So a random Boron hauler moves to within the operational range of the patrolling TM and the friend/foe setting immediately sets the Boron to foe and the patrolling TM's order changes to 'Attacking Boron Hauler.'

However only the TM goes after the Hauler, it does not launch its fighters which would have launched if it had been a pirate which I have set to foe. (I guess letting the CODEA handle friend/foe would change this behaviour but have literally spent days trying to get this to work how I want, game limitation??)

I would prefer the TM to ignore the hauler ideally. Anyone else had the same issue or found a way to control this as I would like?? Oh and by the way this is all OOS behaviour I am describing.

Update... I just noticed my other TM setup exactly the same does not suddenly decide to attack the Boron hauler and set it as a foe, now I am really confused. I should mention that the TM's have no pilots. I think I will just have to go all out on the Boron 8) I am all out of ideas

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

UPDATE I have figured out changing show as enemy if enemy to me to NO stops my mini carriers pursuing random Boron traders, weird as I was sure I had tried that but now everything functions as I would like.

I've been running CODEA with no issues but suddenly a Corvette and a TM in my fleet are both trying to dock at the nearest trading station every time we get into a new sector? Specifically trading stations, regardless of distance. I'm completely flabbergasted as to what's going on, I keep trying to isolate the cause....

Hi guys, when i launch my attack fighters on any target they go to him but when approach to target my fighters stop and shoot,dont move more only stay stopped at range of fire and they killed easily,any know why they stopped and dont move and shoot??

Explain your situation more about what your fighters are getting into.

What Level are your pilots?

What is the speed of their target?

Codea fighters don't move unless they think they can defeat said target at mounted weapon's max range or target is not moving fast. Usual tactic having the wing leader act as bait and the wing men shoot at the target.

More often happens with who low level pilots shoot efficiently(like a semi auto) than burst firing also they don't maneuver as often as higher level pilots unless their all shooting at one target they stop to avoid collisions and getting in the cross fire.

Elaborate more on the situation your putting them in.

Like I said before Wing leaders will act as bait and dogfight normally(if the target is a fighter), while the wingmen will shoot at near max range to force their target to maneuver and give openings for the wing leader. Higher lvl pilots perform this maneuver better than low lvl.

One more thing which version are you using?

versión of CODEA is 3.3.12 ,with libraries 3.8.05,
When launch my attack fighters to an objetive,usually is an m6,they go ,but when fighters approach 2km of objetive,my fighters stop and fire,,,sorry for my explain but english is not my language.
You say the better Rank of pilot better fight,so i hope high ranks dont stop and make burst firing on target without stop...hehe

I'm trying to find the wares list for my tender to resupply my carrier using CODEA.

I found the Tender Administration window but it doesn't have anything about which supplies to use.

Options I have:

Refuge Station
Supply Station
Supply Tender
Supply Limit
Delete List
Transfer ware data to another tender
Transfer tender to another carrier

and that's all, nothing about which wares to add or stock or anything.
I've pretty much looked in all the CODEA tabs and can't find anything.

I have a TS assigned as tender with a lieutenant pilot.
Did I miss something with the install or something?

I made a thread in Scripts and Modding but no one has yet to reply

Hey guys I could use more help using CODEA.

I have a Heavy Centaur I added to the fleet. It followed the carrier to a military outpost where I put a pilot on it then added it to the battle group of the commodore.

Now all it will do is sit in one place.

I can't get it to move or follow or anything. I tell it to follow and it moves like 10 feet and shuts back down.
The name has COM Heavy Centaur so I assume it is in the fleet.
I thought it would go in the corvette slot but it wasn't available.

Could anyone explain this crazy mess? I've been trying to figure out this CODEA stuff for 3 days.

I'm running a Hyperion with a couple fighters under CODEA.

They have both scored a few kills each so far but it doesn't show in the Ace of Aces list.

Is there something I have to do to have it shown or is it just a glitch?

Its a simple fix actually. Do not install with pluginmanger. Just drop CODEA files directly to X3TC or AP directory. Some scripts/mods need to be installed manually to function properly.

There is Update for CODEA and few other Lurike scripts on xuniversum (in germany use google translate to check the other scripts)

Changelog on the site:

15.06.2019 (Version 3.4.00)

Albion Prelude: Adjustments and optimizations carried out in the OOS fight.
Changing the front weapons has been optimized.

Don't know what you are talking about. My Codea Tenders work just fine, they jump as told and retreat back to base as soon enemy is close. I play Litcube Universe and they also jump to the center of sectors and beacons.
