I don't remember hearing about big fires in Colorado...
That would be because the post is 6 months old. The poster before you dredged it up. ;)
Wha... How did I mistake it for recent. The board showed it as unread.

Well my mistake.. Carry on

Still praying for rain here in Colorado ... or more like praying for Snow. I don't like how little Snow we're getting in the last 2 months, even when the East cost was hit with the storm.

No fire, but in Colorado if we don't have enough snow it spells trouble for our water supply.

Meanwhile over on this side of the pond we're up to our necks in snow and ice. Some reports are saying it's the coldest winter since
1955.

BRRRR.

It's global warming. And I'm serious. Apparently, the hot stream going from Mexico to Normandy / Ireland and up is slowly moving its course to the north, taking away the "protection" from the british isles, which are going to have the appropriate climate for their latitude: scandinavian winter. Perhaps even worse than that, because they're the "first frontier" on the ocean, taking both western and eastern cyclones.

Dartmoor is hardly south. It's over 50°N and the temperature there is currently hovering just above 0°C. It's even had snow in the last few days, so I'm baffled by the fire.
