I found this litte gem on Steam:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/334920/ZeroK/

Free game that is like Supreme Commander / Total Annihilation with a twist (terrain forming).

70 Single player missions (albeit first 15 are rather rudimentary and repetetive, but later on it gets much better).

Also AI is fun - it actively search for gaps in your defence, retreat when attack fail and try to avoid battle if at disadvantage.

Those games on that list, I think the only one I'm interested in is Tropico 5 the other games I either have no idea what they are or I already have them.

Brigador: Up-Armored Deluxe free on Gog for 72 hours - looks kind of like warhammer

Metro 2033 Redux free on Epic Games

Indiegala has a variety of free games. Cuban Missile Crisis looks like it's one.

It's like 4th time they give away Torchlight II. Several other games also have been free giveaway for more than once.

As person who regulary take those free games I'm a bit dissapointed, but some peope who didn't managed to take these games 1st time must be happy to have another chance.

damn I missed Stranded Deep. Next to Jurrassic Park, which looks like a good park management game (finally a strategy game), the only one that actually interested me :D

Did Epic give away My Time at Portia, I seem to have missed it if they did, not that it matters as I have it on my steam account.

Stumbled onto this FPS while browsing the steam sale, don't know what it's like as I haven't played it but it's free and the reviews seem to be very positive.

I thought I would post this, as the game Mechcommander (2 as well) has become freeware *Freeware since 2006*.

However a modder named RizZ created darkest hour, which combines, both the expansion, and a huge list of user maps. The difference is pretty staggering. Current version is 4.2
You can download it from a few places,

https://www.moddb.com/members/mcrizzen/ ... ullversion

I'm not connected to the project, but I did play the game back when it was V3, so this guy still been busy in enhancing this game.

Install instructions are easy. and you just need to remember to mount the ISO in the game folder, and double click on which screen ress you want. (some work better then others. (and you don't need the original disks anymore)

Utter loved this game back when it first came out. and nice that this works on the latest OS versions. (you do need directplay installed)

Have fun.
