I am dredding the new doctor next series. That guy will play it too like Colin Baker (i.e. taking it too seriously, and going for mean and moody).

Jack never actually mentioned the gender of the executioners; they may have been female.

As for Jack's bisexuality, yes he had a thing with his army buddy. And the Doctor made some serious overtones about it, and he also had a thing for rose, so the sex of his executioners is irrelivent :P

I think the tractor beam and stasis field might be the same device. Basically, if he wanted to teleport, the bomb was coming even though it was already "frozen" and he somehow wasn't.

That would also explain why there was no way he could have just set the ship on autopilot and teleported to the ground, the bomb was using the device.

Also, if it hasn't been mentioned. Bad Wolf was written on the bomb in German.

Then the stasus field must havbe only been around the detonator and so he was just in the tractor beam bit.
