This looks like an interesting (and very useful) script. I dowloaded and installed it, however when I run the game and dock, the game autosaves and locks up. This only happens when this script is enabled, any ideas why? I'd really like to get this script working :)

I have absolutely no idea why.
The setup does not contain any loops or other freaky stuff and the setup is the only script that runs at that time.

I start new games all the time and it works here...

Hmm, ok thanks anyway. I'll just have to go back to placing my lasertowers manually. I'm using this on an existing game, so that could be why it isn't working too well.

The LTs do not allign with the gates when I select a gate, it still ask for the 4th argument and it reacts as normal.

The Stealth LTs do not work for me, they blow up when deployed and never come back when enemies are present...

help?

(I did DL from the temp source)

Hi

Have just stated to use your script Gazz but have run into a problem.

As soon as the stealthed LT's are deployed the Argon and Teladi are automatically set to Foe - (and blows up the leviathon they were meant to be protecting)

Any idea how I can get them to be automatically deployed showing friendly to All races bar Xenon and Khaak ?

Could some kind soul tell me exactly how to decloack all my LT's? I deployed some which i now want rid of.

Maybe - not sure if it works for existing LTs as I've never bothered cloaking mine.

To cloak your lasertowers that were deployed with the microchips use the following commands.

Select the deploy ring of fire command (just like deploying a LT ring).

1. select location of a deployed ring of LTs (I think you can select any location but i have not checked that.

2. (type in) set cloak

3. any radius.

4. any direction.

The towers will now slowly cloak. To decloak them do the exact same thing as above except replace the set cloak with set decloak. Using this command will not deploy another LT ring, this goes for all the set commands that you use in command number 2, but im not sure if it goes for the set command in command 3, especially if you used a number in command 2.

One thing I did notice is that when you cloak or decloak them you do that to all the LTs you deployed in all sectors that were deployed with the microchips. Also when you cloak them they appear to take the friend/foe settings of the ship you are currently in. Then when you decloak them they return to the settings that you either manually set them to or the settings when they were initially deployed (or they may change back to your global friend foe settings). The setting for "show enemy if enemy to me" will revert back to yes once you cloak them so manually changing that does nothing.

Where can I find this Globals.txt? I would love to be able to change my radar as I find it highly unrealistic that futuristic radar systems have a shorter range than real life radar systems. Also awesome mod but the ring won't snap to gates. It asks for the 4th parameter even though I select a gate as the target.

its inside the cat files, but as to an explanation on the "radar"...its not "radar" its "gravidar" (gravimetric sensor)

Yeah I can't find Doubleshadow's mod manager for the life of me. It's referenced all over the place but still eludes me. Help would be much appreciated.
