[X2] Crash on mission 3 cutscene when entering Brennan's Triumph

Hi,

I have the same issue as well (sorry if this is a necro, but I think this thread is still relevant).

Specs:
- OS: Windows 10 Pro
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 16-Core
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti
- RAM: 16 GB
- Sound: NVIDIA High Definition Audio
- Game version: X2 1.5 (Steam version)
- Scripts/mods: none (playing on vanilla)

I'm in Bala Gi's Joy, so a quick jump to Brennan's Triumph using the jumpdrive should do.

I've attempted to enter from all three gates but to no avail.

EDIT: Resolved. I used window mode and the cutscene did not cause the crash at that point.

well old thread ... but I recently decided to go back and play X2 again. Yep, I just hit this problem

I know it's 2021 now, but does anyone still have any of these "fixed" .sav files? I've tried everything trying to get around this problem

Oh I give up

Was working fine until I got hailed in priest ring. And now it's crashing again. Time to uninstall and see if X3 will still work

yeah I suppose. I did actually uninstall it and loaded x3 reunion ..... and then that started crashing on target selection. So thought I'd give x2 another go, reinstalled played through from 08 save (above) .... and it crashed again

I thought I was about to resurrect this thread, but then I saw someone not a week ago posted asking for their save to be loaded, played past the video and then saved.

You have to admire the dev's and the communities passion to still do stuff like this for a game as old as X2.

That said, I'm in the same boat!
