I found the asteroids get dark when you have "Bumpmaps" turned on.

This mod doesn't work for the Linux version of X2. It leaves lighter colored overlapping square graphic segments on the surfaces you changed.

Can you be more specific about the graphical clitches? Or post some screenshots?

I can't help you with this one, it's Player's mod. But I'm part of a team of modders that work on a mod that will make similar changes. I don't have the linux version (and I think nobody else from the team has one). Thus I'm very interested in such kind of problems. Besides, the MAC version has problems too with some textures we are using - and I haven't figured out what is causing these problems. Any information on this is appreciated.

The download link has been fixed, and some additions have been made.

Hmm, I could split the next version to a version that does include cockpits and one that doesn't...

Until then the only solution is to remove the ships.txt file from the mod which is where the cockpits are removed.

Please don't remove the X2 cockpits. I'm trying to play X2 now, though I have X3:R and TC, and I'm doing this partly because I wanted ship cockpits.

There are some pretty good cockpit mods for x3 out now, but I agree it's a killer mod dude but I'd really like to have the cockpit back.

Don't think I dont appreciate the work tho man its deadly!

Great MOD!!! Thanx for the hard work...

It appears that i have a problem though.
I can live without the cockpits, and like it that way (X3:R & X3:TC player),
but my placement cursor disappeared.

When one give a "move to position" or "build" command, there is a set of brackets AND animated inward-moving chevron cursor (for placement/position). I found that after I started running this MOD, this chevron cursor was invisible. I found it using the coordinates and moved it to 0,0,0 but could not see it.

As much as i love the work you have done, that cursor is critical to positioning and station placement, so I have to unload you work. :(

Has anyone else experienced this anomoly? Any fixes/workarounds?
(I run no other MODs at this time)

Thanx again!!!

You can do yourself, it's easy, you need X2 or X3 ModManager, open the mod and delete there Tships.pck file.

hey thanks!
curious tho, Player just says to remove the 'ships.txt' file, while what you're saying is to remove the 'Tships.pck' file ... mis-speak, or is that all the 'Tships.pck' file is? perhaps I have to open the 'Tships, pck' file and delete the 'ships.txt' file from that?
... or maybe I'll just stick with Organic Mod for now ... I did run this (High Def) mod for awhile, but the only real difference I noticed between it and Organic Mod was the detail on the asteroids ...
