00749.bod connection lines

In FL, we can have several galaxies to choose from, directly in the menu, which is VERY handy! It allows the creation of procedural galaxies without modifying existing files. Unfortunately, I run into the problem of the .bod file (x3\objects\cut\00749.bod) that do not generate the links between non-adjacent sectors (that are connected with gates). I needed a "universal" bod, so I'm using the one from Ketraar. Any solution?

Unlike the Map file, you cant load multiple 00749 bods, so the connections will always be the same unfortunately. So if you have 2 maps where the connections link differently it wont work.

The only way I found back in the day to have a "procedural" map is to have the map have all sectors (like the bod) and then just open some of them based on random selection, but the connections and positions need to be the same.

What about making every connection possible for every sector? For instance, instead of having 0,0 -> 0,1, you would have 0,0 to [0,1;0,2;0,3;etc.;1,0;2,0;3,0;etc.] then the game would only draw what the actual connection really is (0,0 -> 0,1 if valid).
