It's awesome you haven't ended techincal support of X-Tension even 21 years after its release.
Sorry, some bugs have yet to be fixed, and it is a 5-minutes work.
1. Split Drone Factory uses a cutscene of Paranid Lasertower Factory. It needs to refer to 04143.bod instead of 04134.bod.
2. Boron Weapon Component Factory uses the 3D-model of the Argon fab. It has to use 00440.bod (with Boron textures) instead of 00430.bod.
3. Goner Ship's description is silent, though the sound does exist in "mov\00144.dat" and "mov\00149.dat". It has to replace "Name=3751" by "...3701".
One can make sure the description does exist, listening to the .dat file via the X-games .dat player, having entered number "3701".
4. Xenon M0's engines are also silent, because /S/ folder has no sound file named "100", and it has to be replaced by "101" or "102"
All thanks to Kwon, who noticed these bugs. One can easily fix them by his editors.
Will Egosoft release a hotfix for these?

Probably not as dev time is stretched and precious. If they are really simple issues to mod around as stated above (or can just be ignored), then those would be the ways to go.
