Marine training barrack not training mechanical

I have bought a marine training barrack and upgraded it to XL, it works fine except i can't train marine's mechanical skill, i do not have the option.
I don't know if it was already like this for previous upgrade but even using "all skills" the marine isn't rained in mechanical and i have them gain starts in the 2 other skills but never in this one.

Try upgrading to XXL?

I think as the other poster said you have to upgrade it to XXL to get all 3 training options. I know that before upgrading it to XL it only allowed Engineering as an option, and then at XL I get two training options, so I'm assuming at XXL you get all three. My barracks is also at XL atm, and it will be a while before I can upgrade.

It's a long way till you can upgrade it to XXL ... So it's unsusable before it's fully upgraded ... Alright ...

Its most time & money efficient to use single-skill quick trainings.

A quick way to upgrade the training barracks is to buy 150-ish slaves from any black market, then convert them into your marines, just keep the barracks supplied with materials and it will level up in no time.

You need to turn them into passengers first right? I don't know how you could free slaves.

Yes, I have just tried that - when you've got slaves on board, there will be an additional menu "Free Slaves" when you trade with your Marine training facility.
They will turn into passengers and will slowly get turned into marines.
