Oh thats looking real nice.
Couple questions regarding the notes though:
Added Cargo Shielding to protect against equipment damage -> Does that mean only cargo or equiped gear too? And only lowering the risk or fully eliminating it?
Improved Kogarasu Maru -> In which regards?
Removed Discovery points from asteroid if scanned remotely -> removed them? I was pretty sure that you didnt get them if you scanned them remotly anyway?
Removed Collect all wares from picking up discoveries-> Does that disable collecting them with collect ware too if you select it directly? If i have a sat that spoted a discovery i like sending some other ship to collect it.

It protects everything, if you have one installed, then you will not lose any wares/equipment when you take damage
Faster, better turning, more cargo space, better laser generator, can now mount beam weapons in one of its turrets, terran missile compatibility and boarding pods. It also has a slight increase to its marine capacity.
most are only small increases though
if you remotely scanned them, you dont get the points, but the points still showed but no way to get them. They now no longer show once they have been scanned
if you use the collect single ware command, then it should work.
but the collect all wares will ignoring them, and will also ignore anything you have yet to discover

Alright i the mining commands are gone from all my mobile miners.
I have a few Caiman miners, and they do continue the automated mining, but i look in their special commands they are gone, and i can't ask to new ones to do the job. I only have the "Mine minerals in sector" option.

Thanks. The cargo bay shielding just got promoted to "must have" for all my ships

I love how my station managers seem effective now. I just get a crash now, every time I comm a station, and click the X to close the dialogue. I can avoid this by clicking the <<<, but just an FYI.

For automated mining, ships need the Mining Command Software.
They should have always needed it, that wasn't changed in 1.2

I dont understand why Maru is buffed. It was already a pretty OP ship.

Does this patch also fix the problem of not awarding the points for remotely scanning? For example, if you apply the patch, and then remotely scan a new asteroid, will you earn the points?

I checked it again, and can confirm they were lost during the update.
If you check the pictures in this thread, those were from 1.1 viewtopic.php?f=199&t=439764 and then those here after the 1.2 update:
They disappeared in the 1.2 update.

Is a readtext error displayed instead? Do you by any chance have an extracted text file from a previous version lying in your addon2\t-folder?

I can confirm the Repair Drones missing their Weapons.
Tried to send em to repair a captured Pirate M7 and they act like normal but no repair lasers are installed anymore.
