merchant ships should be smarter

idk if it's tech or gameplay so i'm dropping it here.

merchant ships with or without station manager gotta be smarter.
station manager says "go here sell this" regardless of whether they jump into a gate with a xenon patrol in it. ONCE I can see. After that? nobody would fly a ship into an enemy patrol, get ambushed, and GO BACK again and again and again and again till they died.

also nobody would fly a ship into a sector with enemy ships in it to salvage 10 energy cells. gotta be smarter. "station manager" is doing nothing but killing its ships. Also why the hell would a station manager have ships salvage stuff that it can't stockpile and sell? ie a silicon mine station manager telling its ships to salvage weapons? yeah no

also if *I* were flying a merchant ship and any enemy ship got within about 15km I'd just jump out before they could get into gun range anyway.
