Carrier management and other adv logistics

Is there anywhere that explains how any of this works or what the different role settings are? What’s the difference between a buyer and a supplier?

Can a TL use freight drones or transporter or buyer to trade with stations? How?

Will ships look for and gather wares to fulfill loadouts on their own or do you need the items in stock?
