hi !
my first creation in game.(X4 hotfix3 v392160)
Made with station calculator
Shipyard XL L M and S (and maintenance)

For now I do not have the opportunity to really see them at work, this represents a lot of money, I have only a few modules built on both stations, in theory if station calculator works well, they only need to be supplied with basic resources.

Hi!

Totally inspired by the adeine lovely ring station

By keeping the spirit and the form but in a less intimate way, The station is much more attack oriented with more defense module.
To optimize the radius of action of the turrets, the modules are just in front of and behind the gate
Not all defense modules are equipped with a turret, I left it up to you.

Hi Steph

Love your modification of adeine's Gate Defence ring station, especially like that you connected all modules so they can be manipulated easier (I tried adeine's but had difficulty moving all modules to be north/south facing instead of east/west facing).

For optimal positioning of the defence turrets, does it matter which way round it fits on a gate?. I don't think it does as the turrets can fire either way .. but depends upon which ones you have given turrets to in the build (as you say "Not all defense modules are equipped with a turret", not all, to me implies some are?).

Edit: Nvm .. Figured out you meant "No modules have turrets", so its down to the user to apply those, which is good for personal preferences :)

It's easy too, just picking the root module of the whole station, (it's on the side) and just turn or move the module and the rest follow :wink:
I did not have any particular problem to place the station on the jump gate.

might be a daft question, but what size plot do you need for the gate defence station?
