this ship has a capacity of 2 , but there are 5 consoles on the ship meant for NPCs.

(1 pilot station, plus 2 stations on the top) and 2 stations on the button that can be clearly seen thru the glass on top. something tells me it could support at least 5? , ideally at least 10?

Pretty sure it has a capacity of 16 people. Right?

Oh never mind. Beta 7 had people capacity of 1, and this post was created just before beta8 released.
