7.3 [feedback] Fighters and deployables

One of the things I really liked about beta 7 was the introduction of fighters using deployables (such as mines and laser towers) I really liked this, I even started to add them to my own fighters. I thought this enriched the gameplay. I know there was some complaints, but I did not have an issue with it at all and I'm sad that this was patched out.
