[6.20 Beta] 509518 a reproducible bug related to the casino and non-responsive npcs when setting them from the station interface subordinate staff.

I have noticed that the two npcs standing in the casino from the table are unresponsive but are listed in the staff list of the station (Managment 2-4 stars). If you now set them as managers/pilots or something similar, they are also unresponsive there. When you try to contact them via the staff menu, the comm window only opens for a fraction of a second.
The problem is always that the two NPCs always have up to 2-4 stars in management and therefore always stand out in the list next to the 0 stars.

I had already given several of these npcs the position of manager in various stations before the beta. now I wanted to give one of them training, which of course didn't work. So I jumped to one of my shipyards, which also owns a casino, to hire one. there I noticed this with another manager. I then radioed him and saw the casino in the background. From then on, I experimented a bit and that seems to be the solution to the puzzle of the unresponsive npcs.


Unfortunately, the names are regenerated after each reload.
Here is a screenshot, with the Npc ( Marelle Cornell ) as an example. It is not responsive. as soon as I go to call, the camera changes to this NPC, but nothing else happens.

I Have set A landet Nova without pilot but with a name ( "use this ship to test the npc" XNS-828) on the Same Station for testing purpose

Thanks for the report. These NPCs aren't supposed to be hireable. How did you manage to do it? As you've said, the comm conversation doesn't work.

I clipped a part of yesterday's stream where I intentionally recruit a casino NPC. I'm sorry if I speak German there. But moving pictures can sometimes say more than screenshots.

I mainly use the crew display of the station itself to recruit. But for that I have to be present at the station.

You can recruit the casino staff via the station internal staff list. They don't react when you talk to them, but by right-clicking --> work elsewhere for me, you can send them to other places. They have 2-3 stars in management. For this you have to be present on the station and of course you have to have a casino module.

I have the staff list open in the screenshot in the opening post, as well as a Twitch clip to reproduce and a game save.

the bug still exists. but i thank you in advance. because i got a few 5 star managers that i use as station managers.

Would it be possible to move the casino staff into a hidden category so that they are not even shown in the staff overview of the station?
(I know there is such a category, but it is obviously used in non-player stations, otherwise you could easily access their station employees in non-player stations).

I would appreciate an answer on whether this would be possible or not.
