[RES]Beta 7 - Target's don't work - fixed in next build
Noticed while fighting a larger group of xenon. Wanted to use shift + e (which is still mapped to"target closest enemy") to, well, target the closest enemy.
Everything I get though, is the sound but nothing happens.
Tried using T instead, same thing. Also happens in multiple ships. (Tried Perseus and Odysseus)
Restart and verifying game files didn't fix it. Only started after update to 7.
Save attached.

Re: Beta 7 - Target's don't work
As far as I can tell, the target commands don’t work. Closest enemy, target in front, etc. Only the auto targeting or clicking works.
Re: Beta 7 - Target's don't work
I should have added surface element targeting (next/prev) does seem to work.

Re: Beta 7 - Target's don't work
Noticed that as well. Only affected targeting commands seem to be the target in front and target closest enemy.
Re: Beta 7 - Target's don't work
Problem confirmed and will be fixed in an upcoming build. No further reports required.
[6.0 Beta 7] Target Closest Hostile not working (Save)
Hi,
As per title. The "Shift + E" key combination to target the nearest hostile is no longer working. I've confirmed this control is still mapped - I've not changed it - but it doesn't work for me. I made a save and reloaded it to test and this is consistent for me.
Here's the save. There are Xenon enemies nearby, and Shift + E does nothing.

Targets not working Beta 7 X4
The latest X4 Public 6.00 Beta 7 has removed the Targeting Management functions.
Have tried remaps and different profiles, rebooted and checked joystick buttons all work in Windows Devices Panel (which they do).
Using Windows 10, paying via Steam on a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro.
All working OK this morning, targeting lost as soon as the Beta uploaded.
After lots of messing around I was able to get a recycle function working but it recycles everything in the map in range (friends and foes). The target functions on the keyboard ("T" and "Shift E") are also not working.
Thanks
MJ

Hi, after the last beta updat "T" works some how but not like before. Now only Enemies which actively target me will be choosen. This is really annoying if you want to approach some xenons or want to target the civil crime ship. In principle it is fine in a close combat only to target enemies which shooting at you, but generally it is now more annoying then helpful.
