[#419][6.00 Beta 2] Impossible 90° exit by M ships entering sector OOS

M ships entering a sector with a destination that is sharply aligned, follow this trail by ignoring physics or turn rate and just move on in travel speed which would be impossible by the player himself.

A screenshot doesn't really capture the issue, so i made a quick 40s video. Behaviour can be viewed at Getsu Fune jumpgate to Asteroid Belt

I have seen this exact issue, and one time it was actually close enough for me to see the ship do and it was indeed flying the right way, the map was just out of sync. Problem resolved on reload with the map so can’t provide a save

While I don't want to bump the topic, i just want to add that this bug/issue is still present as of 6.00 RC3

This is a very old issue, it has been a thing since at least SV. Maybe earlier but that's when I first noticed it. I've reported it before and even recorded it happening (not just on the map, ships really do this). After all these years I assume it either can't be fixed or is too low priority to be fixed.
