In short: This is an issue of the collision mesh around the ship basically turning off. When this begins to happen, your ship will ALSO fly through asteroids and stations as well. Reloading apparently resets the colliders for your ship.

I can confirm that saving the game and reloading the savegame immediatly solve the issue. You don't need to end the game or quit to desktop.

Maybe in this save you can recreate not picking up containers, since I ran into THE bug, drops going trough my odyssey, did a quicksave quickload and was able to use magnet and pick almost all, there are 2 left, they just stop short off the ody, I did try moving but still no go.
Hope it helps, there are a lot of drops around me so maybe more or less will "bug" out

Fixed ships getting spawned away from ship configuration menu at resupply ships from automatically getting deployables.

CBJ was making a general reminder about 'chatty' threads and not directing it at any one specific poster. Unless an issue is declared fixed in the changelogs so far, the issue will not have been fixed yet and so can be expected to be seen in the current beta build too.
Of course already declared fixes that do not work fully in all situations are important to know about and would need reports with full situational and supporting evidence for further investigation.
