question about player HQ

ok so i just started playing the game again did a fresh install and everything. i was scanning a station and had the alien start speaking he said he had to go and cut it. he said something about a system but i cant remember. did they change how mission starts? cause i have nothing in my log now. what am i suppose to do?

With the Kingdom End DLC you will need to fly to Heretic's End to receive the Headquarters and you skip all the anomaly stuff and the bit with the antimatter. Note that this does not apply to the "Accomplished Scientist" or Cradle of Humanity game starts.
