Unboardable ship - Wayfinder

Hi everyone,
after completing the Boron chain, I've found the Wayfinder is sitting in Sanctuary of Darkness with a couple of escorts.

I felt sorry for the crew so I tried to "encourage" them to accept a new commander and get out of that zone, however the "encouragement" (yes I mean boarding) window says boarding is impossible.

The ship has one crew member and he seems really lonely.

Any idea if I can "encourage" him to move on?

I thought there was a mod for this but haven't been able to find one.

Quite a few of the various game and DLC plot-generated ships are like this and hang around unobtainable to the player (in vanilla) after their role in the plots is well over. It would have been better just to despawn them in clean-ups when next out of any view of the player after their useful lifetimes as they currently just remain and tease the player instead.

Seems a shame to leave a nice big freighter out there all alone in the black... oh well.
