ToA and modding the M Ship

I already have a modified M ship that I want to use for the race (I use it as a personal travel ship).

Am I able to skip adding the mod to a ship? or can I add a mod to another ship and still use my current M ship that is modded?

I think you need to re-roll one of the mods to register the ship. Otherwise, use some old clanker that you temporarily throw a mod onto so it is registered as the race ship.

The actual ship used does not matter since you will always lose the race due to Northriver being a bigger cheater than you. Hence why the dialog suggests you teleport to a scrap ship nearby so it is that ship that is lost.

Thanks for the reply.. and ya. .it has to be an advanced mod, so my super M ship wont work :(

But good to know that id does not matter at all
