Space Distortion (Jump points)
Anyone know whats up with the space distortion anomolies? They push you back but if you enter them they jump you to different sectors. Once you find one they lead all over the place.
Re: Space Distortion (Jump points)
i thinks thats it
Nothing else to say.
they (one and teh same) also lead to different sectors, so there is no pratical use for them

I wouldn't say no practical use. Early in the game, they help you find unexplored sectors, and they provide a bit of adventure.
Have a great idea for the current or a future game? You can post it in the [L3+] Ideas forum.

... also it is quite a wake-up call (thankfully rare though) when you accidentally traveldrive/boost into one that you weren't aware of or had forgotten about.
I think the one involved early on in the initial PHQ plot is a bit more stable and predictable in destination than the others (or at least it was in early game versions).

They are a good thing very early game when you are opening up the map scouting.
Pretty useless after that due to the randomness, you can't actually use them for travelling.
They have always seemed like a feature which will get gate building in future. Build a gate on it and it locks the destination and then your map becomes unique with different sector neighbours.
That's a really easy feature to add too. Just drop a plot on it and the gate blueprint only places when aligned on the anomaly. Destination locks on first player travel through it. Another has to be built at the other end for 2 way.
Expensive wares sink.
To make it non random they could restrict to two unpaired player gates buildable at a time. Then when player uses one the two gates will pair permananty.

Keep going through them early game until you find scale plate green lol
I used to list PC parts here, but "the best" will suffice!
