Argon/Terran war Guild ?
Hi, just a little thing about the Argon/terran plot.
If you get them at war with each other are they guild missions that appear for one side or another like for Zya/Arg guild ?

The feature has been requested before to have guild mission chains for the various combinations of wars you can start, but it's unknown if that feature will be added.

And changing other factions also removes missions.
Uniting the HoP and Par removes war missions for both HoP and ARG towards each other, and also removes HoP v PAR war missions from both sides because they're now united.
Siding with CUB against ZYA will remove ARG v ZYA war missions, but will still provide RHA v ARG war missions.
No new missions are gained either for any storyline changes you make through plot missions.

Mmh, ZYA have only ZYA vs ARG missions not the opposite as i saw. So Rha vs ARG would be the exact same thing only with a different name. Or did i missed something ?Siding with CUB against ZYA will remove ARG v ZYA war missions, but will still provide RHA v ARG war missions.

You start with ZYA V ARG, and ARG V ZYA. If you turn ZYA into RHA, RHA still offers missions against ARG, but ARG no longer offers missions against any Split faction.

ZYA vs ARG ok. But ARG VS ZYA where did you got it ? I'm 20+ rep with the two factions and never got anything but ZYA vs ARG.

There is a mission to go talk to a rep for Argon, once you talk to him you can get ARG v ZYA war missions.

It should pop up automatically once you reach a certain rank. I remembee seeing it somewhere in the mission tab. It might be on the same station as the faction rep, look for a room called "war room", and that will have the person available to start taking those quests i believe... ill see if i can find it tomorrow after work, i know i have it active on one of my gamestarts.

I tested for 2 hours today on fresh start 4.0(last hf) and tried different situations and nothing pops up at rep 10+ neither with ARG or ZYA. (even searched elven hour if it was linked to something there.) The only explanation i see is that 4.0 removed it.

I don't recall ARGvsZYA (3.10 -- 4.00). There are ARGvsHOP and ARGvsXEN.
When you fulfill Guild requirements there will be a trivial "Speak to person" mission that is listed among other Guild missions and visible everywhere in the Galaxy. Once you do the mission, i.e. go and listen a speech, missions of that Guild do show up, but only in relevant sectors.

I went through and looked at some of my games, and that is correct, there are no ARG v ZYA missions. Just HoP and Xenon.... seems like there should be missions though, if ZYA is at war with them... why not offer missions to combat that threat. Oh well. I would have sworn I had done some ARG v ZYA missions in the past, but i was wrong i guess.

Could they have been generic missions? I've boarded some ARG Freighters for ZYA clients. Those were generic missions; not from ZYAvsARG Guild. Fat paycheck too.
ANT has Trade Guild.
TEL has Trade Guild.
ARGvsHOP and ARGvsXEN
HOPvsARG and HOPvsPAR
PARvsHOP

MIN, FRF, ALI, and FAF do not seem to have Guilds.

Ok i've tested all this now properly so here is the list of guilds available in 4.0hf2 all dlcs at the stage where no faction where altered by plots :

TER... maybe they offer war missions against ANT/ARG after the resolution of the covert ops storyline?
I think plot resolutions should create new mission options.
Like TRI v BUC
RHA v CUB and CUB v RHA
TER/ANT/ARG v each other depending on covert ops

I tested all versions of terran plot ending and there was nothing new and i'm pretty sure there will be nothing.
But i tested not a long time after the conclusion of the plot. So i'm not 100% sure on this one. It maybe needs more time to trigger. Technically i waited until the war status triggers. (the message in the GalNet "newspaper")
I think too that guild missions should adapt a bit to the political changes. But it would be quite alot of work to do as they should script a good part of it. (paintjobs, and so on...)
