In Authority we trust Achievement

How do you get that achievement? I think it is tied to the Split plot. I got to the point were i told Faut'Nnt about the rebels and pretend to attack the Cobra. After that i am send to Slave Trader 2. Doing the Slave trader mission i have no way to report back to Faut'Nnt? After freeing the prisoners and the Hall of Judgement is done i get a call from police to get out. Whatever i do the Log always says:

Escaping the scene, Faut'Nnt of the counter-attacking Zyarth Police force gave you the chance to disengage in order to honour your cooperation. You did not disengage in time, which is noted in your favor with the separatist movement, but might reflect poorly on you with the Zyarth Police.

Is that still on track with getting the achievement? After that i am supposed to deliver the fleet to Zyarth.

Nope whatever I do after the cobra it will result in the same logbook entry. The secret police guy is also no longer found on that defend station.

Per this thread, it's not bugged, just very anal about what things you do, in which order, and when you do them, even if you think that you're doing what the dialogue has asked, you may not be doing it exactly as required for the achievement.

Classic X series. You follow the rules and get screwed on a ridiculous technicality. Every other achievement is straightforward and clear what you need to do.

Finally got it to trigger. Now to get the police achievement following the very specific steps.

No one's explicitly answered the question here, but since this remains one of the top Google results for this achievement I'm responding (sorry).

To be clear, that logbook entry is irrelevant. I got it and still popped the achievement. The achievement should pop once you destroy the rebel station (NOT the Hall of Judgment) at the end of the mission chain.

Got it back in 2022 so a bit hazy. iirc let others blow the station, pretty much just follow some steps and had it no issue w/o trying.

Please don't pop into a five year old thread just to post 'it works'. Chance are it was addressed with one of the many game updates since that time and this thread is no longer relevant.
