[MOD]Mass Move Marines

We have the technology! Advancements in our understanding of teleportation will now allow us to teleport massive numbers of marines between our ships, instantly! No longer will we be stuck for hours commanding one marine at a time to swap ships after a successful boarding operation. We can teleport marines between ships docked to the stame station!
Update: Announcing a breakthrough in teleportation technology: We are now able to teleport marines between ships that are docked to each other! Also, it is best (ok, required) to not have more than 5 of your ships docked at the chosen station/ship while teleportation is taking place. This will reduce the chance (to almost 0) of the teleporter getting confused and frying your precious marines! Just comm one of the marines on the "source" ship, and choose "Mass Move Marines", then select which ship you would like to send marines to. The target ship will be filled with as many marines as possible.

Really though awesome work for fixing this major, major discrepancy on the devs part.

I've had a small issue with this mod...

I've installed a bunch of mods at once, but then I noticed that my boarding pods were unable to dock at unclaimed ships to claim them. This used to be a fixed bug in 1.0.
So I started removing mods one by one to figure out which one was causing the issue. And after I removed this one claiming worked again.

I'm not sure if this is an issue with your mod or maybe an incompatability with yours and other mods, maybe you could look into it?

Has anyone else had this issue at all?

Idk, anything is possible, but this mod doesn't touch any of the vanilla files, just hooks into the conversation menu when you talk to a marine. I just tested it again in patch 1.5, boarding pod flew over and claimed just fine, after I used this mod to transfer the marine to the boarding ship. BTW, not sure why you are using pods to claim, since that damages the target ship/modules. Just hop out and hit the static thing with your repair tool.
Maybe we can figure out what is going on. Can we get a list of mods you are using?
Also what do you mean by "boarding pods were unable to dock"? Do they just fly around and around the ship never landing? Because that is just due to terrible pathing, and it lands immediately if you leave the sector.

Great work used it once so far. Then went back to unmod to play with the online stuff for xmas as I like to have the free stuff if I can get it to work. Man I miss my mods..... Small request cause I tried to move crew to a ship to fill it up while repairing the ship so I moved them as marines. but when I ask to move marines back it gave me the rookies instead of my elites. Maybe a line in there to asked if I want skilled moved back 1st. I did not play with it too much just move them back and forth once. Could have made the rookies crew then moved the marines I guess did not try. just a thought. Thanks again.

Yeah... it is supposed to move higher level marines first, but I don't think that is working. I'll keep playing around with it!

By now I actually think it was a coincidence that it went away after I removed this mod. I played again with the mod and the issue was gone again. :|

When this starts happening, I tend to either teleport out of the sector or move out or rendering distance. Either way usually seems to resolve it :)

Can you give more details? What size ship are you trying to move marines from/to. Are they docked to each other, or to a station? How many other ships that you own are docked as well?
