Moved to X4 Technical Support forum from the respective XR forum.

What version of the game are you running? Is this a modified or a vanilla game?
Does this problem exist in an existing savegame or also in a completely new game?
In any way, Let Steam or GOG do a file verification, and see if it changes anything.

Also, please see Required Information in all Technical Support Requests.

We really cannot help further without the information that X2 requested above, in this case mainly the DxDiag.

When you say a 'no modded scenario', do you mean you removed all mods and then started a fresh vanilla gamestart? Disabling mods and then playing on from a modded save does not work.

As you already played X4 back then and adjusted various settings including keybindings (ruder part) I'd try the following first:

Backup your X4 profile (where the savegames are) - just to be sure - and rename it afterwards. This way X4 will create a new profile with all default settings. Try again if your problems still exists - if not, you could restore your savegames (those should still be compatible).

My guess is that something in your X4 profile is too outdated and causes troubles.

From the little bit of DxDiag you posted, I can't see any issues. (The sticky suggests that you upload data to a reputable public fileshare site and just post open public sharing links here.)

There was a recent Nvidia WHQL driver 531.29 released (yours is 531.18). You could see if that and its included new Vulkan version makes any difference for your issue.

gforce experience says im .29 version as you suggested(531.29) release 3/14/2023 so i do have that version as of yesterday. i dleted all my savegames and am fine starting fresh. as for default profiles i ahve tried to load defaults but i am handicapped IRL and they dont come close to working with me, so i load but have to change them. PLUS the game will not recognize my sai teck rudar pedals for roll left and right, i have tried many things to get the game to see them, none have worked. which is odd as other games like star citizen, DCS see them fine. as for the vulkan vs dx 12 where is the place in the launcher i change those to try either or, i have yet to find it. it could indeed make a diff.

so i think i nailed the issue. the x56 throttle and sai tech pedals are not being seen properly by the game and are causeing issues. when i unplug them and just use the stick everyhting works fine. when they are plugged in and i press some buttons the scxreen flickers and flashes constnatly. it does this regardless of using a default profile or my own...so the devices are doing something strange. and as for the sai tech pedlas i cant map roll left and right to the pedals like i can in every other game i have, so im guessing there is definatly and issue with egosofts code in this area. any way i can let them know to see if they can fix it?

Do a full dxdiag report for when you have the devices plugged in and when they're disconnected. Windows lists any errors at the end of the dxdiag, so comparing the two may give an indication of the problem. It would also be helpful to post on the forum the full dxdiag with the devices plugged in.

My setup includes the throttle and pedals from CH Products and I have no issues, just for reference.
Have a great idea for the current or a future game? You can post it in the [L3+] Ideas forum.

X4 is a journey, not a destination. Have fun on your travels.
