computer restarted due to an unknown reason - resolved by adjusting BIOS settings
The computer restarted due to an unknown reason. I tried a 10-minute stress test and a high-quality test Cyberpunk 2077 and Death Stranding were all normal. I don’t know what the reason is.

Re: computer restarted due to an unknown reason
Many of the Windows Error Reports about crashes in your DxDiag are to do with your AMD graphics suite's sound and streaming devices. Perhaps try a clean reinstall of the AMD driver suite, and then disable any sound and streaming devices that you do not use in Device Manager, Sound/Audio Devices (right-click on a device in the listing for a disable/enable pop-up).
Good luck.
Good luck.

Sorry, what is SAM - or is that Smart Memory Access (or SMA as I would recognise it) with the Ryzens ?

Re: computer restarted due to an unknown reason
Updating graphic drivers might help with issues like this. Updating BIOS (UEFI) may also help, as well as the chipset drivers in case it was a bug there.

@Alan
Just had a look for "SAM" - it is "AMD Smart Access Memory Technology" - a bios setting, which optimizes something between Ryzen 7000 (3000-) Series processors and RX7000 (5000-) series graphics cards....
Best regards

Yes, everything is normal after disabling (BIOS and driver are the latest).Alan Phipps wrote: ↑Wed, 1. Mar 23, 10:30Sorry, what is SAM - or is that Smart Memory Access (or SMA as I would recognise it) with the Ryzens ?
