At the request of imperial good, i am posting this, because its a bit irritating.
I am using a managed custom start, in a non modded game, from steam 5.10 HF 3 (479084) - 2022-06-21.

Using a seed value of 42, i get a station in The Void spawning in the hazardous area, which ends up creating a small graveyard of cargo ships around it because they die on approach or when they loiter waiting for a new mission. I have included a fresh start, i used the setting i generated my game with and flew to the offending station. I have parked the player ship near the station.

Started a new game, and it has a similar issue, now there are two stations in the death fog.

Funnily enough this ended up getting fixed as a side-effect of another improvement last week. This will be part of 6.0 but note that your seed will no longer generate the same universe due to various changes.
