Alt-F4 kills the game without a prompt - Devs now aware.

Maybe this is by design, but I think it's the wrong choice. If I accidentally hit alt-F4 (and sadly I do it often as in my other environment that is a much used key combo) the game just exits, without any prompt to save or if I'm sure. This is unexpected behaviour and should not be the case. The game should ask if this is really what is wanted, like every other program on Windows does (especially if there's unsaved data).

Might I suggest if there will be yet another pesky pop-up in the future that it contains a "never ask me again" option?

I regularly use alt+F4 after saving to quickly close X4 and I really liked it working so prompt. Just for the record - there are other games and applications which do it the same way.

I agree. I use alt+F4 much and I think both is the way to do this.
Even asking if is beyond what most games do.

I'd be fine with an option to set your preference, that would be good.
