[#189][5.10 HF3] Defence Platform Build Storage not buying 3x Wares

    Playing X4+SV+COH+TOA 5.10 HF3 Build 479084 on:
    CPU: Ryzen 5 2600X; RAM: 16GB DDR4 3200MHz; GPU: GTX 1070 8GB, Driver v516.59, DirectX 12.0; OS: Win10 Home 21H1 (19043.1766); Monitor: Single Acer S232HL 1920x1080
Station with Issue: DRC Avarice IV Gate Defence Platform I (AJC-181)
Station Location: Avarice IV @ Windfall III Gate

Description:

I have Construction Trade Rules for all wares set to "No External Trade" (i.e. Trade with Player-Faction Only). I have Global Price Modifier set @ 100% max price, and all wares are set to the default station construction trade setting. This station in particular needs a large quantity of Energy Cells, Field Coils, Shield Components, and Turret Components as per the "Plan Build Window". Viewing the trade offers on the map, however, shows the build storage only wants Turret Components. I have the construction budget set to above the recommended budget, which seems to be only for Turret Components (383Cr x 26964 = 10,327,212Cr). I have my PHQ located in Eighteen Billion and a 5-star manager that currently offers Field Coils and Shield Components for sale; a nearby Avarice ECell Plant also has a huge abundance of ECells that aren't being transferred either.

Why is the Build Storage not asking for Energy Cells, Field Coils or Shield Components? When I look at "Trade Offers" and "Transfer Wares" with the Build Storage - it only shows Turret Components for wares it is looking for. Energy Cells, Field Coils and Shield Components are no where to be seen. There are no incoming trade ships for these wares.

What's going on here? How can I get the station to start asking for Energy Cells, Field Coils, and Shield Components? Changing the construction trade setting to "No restriction" does nothing. I also tried maxing out the construction budget (it's not letting me go past 22 million Cr...seems to make sense as looking at the quantities and max pricing the budget shouldn't be more than 22,005,612Cr). I know I can manually put the items into the build storage, but I am just submitting this as a potential bug. If I do a manual transfer wares with the Build Storage, there is nothing for the (Wanted) quantity that would normally be expected / align with the Plan Build.

Thanks for the report. We're curious if you set this build up in 5.0 or 5.10 and in what order. Did you build the modules first, then the turrets and then the shields?

It looks like you can force it to correct itself if you modify a single loadout component, such as changing one planned turret to a different type.

Hello!

As suggested by Xenon_Slayer a slight modification of the project with relative confirmation, unlocks the request for goods by the station. (to test I have "unhooked" and "hung up" this point)
However, your HQ's turret production is quite low to meet the current demand from your construction sites.
Defensive Stations ROQ-196 and AJC-181 currently require around 13,000 turret components each and nearly 10,000 are required by your ODE-157 mining outpost, which currently appears to be prioritized by your traders.
Your HQ currently produces 1360 turret components per hour while the total demand on your construction sites is approximately 36,000 turret components. You should at least quadruple the production :wink:

Oh yes.......believe me I know :D; I am not spending time increasing production at HQ as I am creating an economy in Windfall/Avarice for my production. I'm slowly offloading production from HQ so that when I am ready the HQ will be completely redone.

I built the station right from 5.10 HF3. The whole game itself was started in 5.10 HF3 as well.

Ya so this gate defence platform in particular, if I recall, was that I used my plot template "{PAR, ARG/SPL/TEL} Gate Defence Platform" (the first one in the list). You can see the build order there. When the builder finished about 4-5 modules I realized I forgot to add in the Protectyon Generator...so I had to redo the entire build order for the Generator to be built relatively fast (you can see the build order by loading up the -second- "{PAR, ARG/SPL/TEL} Gate Defence Platform" plot template. Edit: **I had these templates set so that all the modules had 100% loadout**

The existing modules were removed and the new layout was started as I expected.

This did happen a while ago when setting up this plot / templates, so my recollection my be a bit off...perhaps an easy way around this is maybe to have a way to force the manager to refresh their memory on what construction wares they still need, or more preferably, they recheck their needs/haves every so often

I tried this and looks like it indeed is causing the manager to reorder more wares now. Good Workaround :) :idea:
