Is Saturn I's map/resource allocation bugged?
Hi, in my game, modified, but not anything that i believe messes with resource distribution, Saturn I's map hex is purple, so minerals and gas, but none are there. I have dropped a few resource probes and they don't report anything back.

There is very little relationship between what you see in sector and on the map, and what you may see with a 'few' resource probes. The main reason for that is that the individual probes are quite limited in their coverage of the stacked cubic volumes with resources for which the densities can vary greatly (or be zero at that location) in all three dimensions. This is why finding minimum resource densities for missions proved so frustrating in the past. All you can do is keep trying different probe locations in all 3 dimensions.
Another way is to send a miner in-sector to collect the resource you want to find and see where it goes.

I think it is a bug that was meant to have been fixed. Saturn 1 does not have gas although it shows as having some.
