[1472]Asgard shields seem to absorb quite alot of damage before the shield UI responds - Fix in a future build.

I am destroying xenon stations in an asgard, and i noticed several times when i drove into a defence modulees range that the shields of the asgard doesnt seem to go down untill after about 4-6 volleys of shots from graviton turrets on a defence module. And then when it starts going down it goes down quick. It might be a UI issue im not sure, the shield on the UI seem to "absorb" alot of damage before they start decreasing.

I also have observed similar. It is like there is a large dead zone above the full bar where the HUD will show the shield full while it is not.

Most easily seen by pressing tab (boost) flying any ship with TER combat engines. As these engines are quite efficient for boosting you can boost for a significant time before the HUD showing shield in the middle of the screen starts to register that shield has been reduced. You can also see your ship in the gravadar showing the shield going down while the HUD is not. After a while it does start to go down, hence seeming like there is a large dead zone (10-15% as an estimate) at the maximum for the HUD shield display.

It might just be that the full shield bar length is not being shown in the UI display. Something similar happened with the cooling bar for the Asgard main weapon when it and the other front battery weapons had been in-game modded. Are your Asgard shields in-game modded?

Unmodded game, and only shield recharge rate mod on it. 14.99% recharge rate bandage mod.

Thanks. It was the vanilla ship equipment mods that you craft in-game that I was asking about. That added information may help the devs.

Yes, the main shields have exceptional balanced mods installed onto them.

However I swear that I have seen this behaviour on ships without shield mods.
