terraforming missions disappeared - Explained.

I just noticed that the terraforming mission tree has disappeared from my missions tab. I've tried to go back to my earliest save, but no luck. All of the missions are gone.

Has anyone had this happen to them? Any idea of how to get them back?

Never mind. Apparently, the mission tree is contextual (like the X vs. Y missions): it only appears in certain systems.

I thought it was like the plot missions: visible at all times.
