with my work on the Accessibility Features (for vision-impaired players), i use this function to put the player into the control of the ship - to remove their need for walking.

unfortunately, the "control" parameter doesn't work on the Odyseus Vanguard, likely on all ship_l classes and also likely on ship_xl classes.
the "control" parameter is described as: "Have the player take control if it is free (defaults to true)"
Mods: RPG: Reputations and Professions, Social Standings and Citizenships, Crime has Consequences, Alternatives to Death. Missions/NPCs: Emergent Missions, NPC Reactions, Mod Parts Trader, High-sec Rooms are Locked, Hacking Outcomes, More Generic Missions, Waypoint Fields for Deployment. Others: Auto-cam, Friendly Fire Tweaks, Teleport From Transporter Room, Wear and Tear. QoL: Trade Analytics, Loot Mining, Ship Scanner, Signal Leak Hunter, Station Scanner, Surface Element Targeting, etc.
