Sound cuts off during gameplay; - solved (Due to a Stalker mod messing with OpenAL settings).

I can start the game fine and will have sound in the menus and during loading, and on occasion in-game as well. But almost immediately I lose sound, with a sound prompt that seems like my headset was disconnected, though it has not been and I retain audio outside of the game. If I change USB ports and recycle my available sound devices, I can sometimes get sound back but it cuts off again if I input any controls in-game, such as turn the ship.

I am fully updated, playing in English, fullscreen and borderless/windowed have had no effect. I have tried each of the three base-game starts, no effect.

Was the stalker thing again as i helped sort it via steam forums, i think a sticky with the title "sound not working, played stalker with mods before, then check in here" and link the fix in from the other stalker topic. @Alan Phipps as this issue keeps popping up and they cant find the fix because ego doesnt tell em about the issue with stalker mods, it needs to be stickied at the top.
