[4.0] Only 1 out of 50 defense drone came out of of my ship?

[4.0] Only 1 out of 50 defense drone came out of of my ship?

Hi, I have a ship where I told it to go to a few sectors away but it met some enemies along the way. I figured no big deal it has 50 defense drones. There were 5 ennemies and this was a constructor ship.

But then I noticed only one defense drone was coming out. I could not find any option to have all of them come out or at least 10 of them.

I was not on that ship initially but I managed to go land on it and saw the same combat drone taking off, go fight, landing on my constructor, taking off, go fight, landing on my constructor, ....

Why only one of them got out to fight when I have 50 of them and there were 5 enemies?

Is it buggy?
