[2.5 & 2.6 beta 1] Memory Leak On Loading Save

Post by RoverTX » Mon, 16. Sep 19, 18:19

Have noticed that when you reload a save that there is a memory leak. Noticed it last night when after restarting a bunch trying to learn boarding my computer started to lock up.

Opened up system monitors and found out that X4 was using up 12GB of memory. Can reproduce by reloading from saves over and over again. Only fixed by restarting X4.

That seems to tie in with what Imperial Good mentioned about Vulkan here.

Could you upload your savegame on the web and provide a link so we can investigate the potential memory leak?

I wouldn't jump to such conclusions ;)

Heh, using 'seems to' in notifying the devs of a similar posted opinion is hardly me jumping to a conclusion. :D
