Maybe it is a bug? Because it is impossible hearing

Thank you.

From known issus Post Boy egosoft...No or limited Sounds/Voices/Music playing in-game
As strange as this may seem, try plugging your HOTAS into a USB 3 rather than a USB 2, and also try updating your mouse driver before seeing if sounds are improved.
If there won't be any I'll do it myself one day I promise, even if I have no modding skills whatsoever and it will take me months
I think the combat music is fixed! Would definitely like to see some sector specific music like in the previous games rather than a playlist though. For instance, the spooky music used to be heard only in pirate sectors, gaseous sectors or abandoned ones not in the core sectors. It's not a bug as such, but more a quality of life thing that could add immersion for those of us who have followed the series!Alan Phipps wrote: ↑Mon, 3. Dec 18, 23:39 Investigate what and how? I say again, please see the first Announcement on this forum because your issue is not a general one across all players.
Not playing a game because of this is just a lil ignorant imo. I'll still play the game regardless and I'm looking forward to see what Egosoft has in-store for us! The music is still great though it's just the way it's presented quite randomly in the game.SpaceLevi wrote: ↑Tue, 4. Dec 18, 12:20 As sad as it can be, seems like it's not a bug. Check the X4 OST https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIivmzUXgfM this is exactly what we hear in game, just 2-3 music tracks and others are more subtle and abstract ambient tracks. It's stil amazing work from Alexei Zakharov, but not everyone likes this changes. For me personally, it's a big deal, the difference is huge, that's why it feels like a bug. Can't even play anymoreI will wait for a music mod or do it myself if I find the time for that.
This is just one of the reasons. Don't get me wrong, the game is great, but it needs a lot of fixes and also mod the hell out of itCelestialFlea wrote: ↑Tue, 4. We have no idea why some users are not hearing sector music when most players are, but the posters here are not helping their cause very much by ignoring the first announcement on this forum.
Yup, I also reproduced it on my end in 1.50.Rincewind79 wrote: ↑Sat, 8. Dec 18, 10:45
EDIT: just reproduced it: start game, load savegame, music is there, xenon arrives, battle music starts, destroy xenon, battle music stops, no music. Save game, reload savegame, music starts! It has to be connected to the first bug, where battle music wasn't stopping. Now it is, but normal music doesn't resume.
There is no crash log, coz no crashes involved, and also no point of providing save file, because loading save always restart the sector music. And DxDiag obviosly whont help here, but ok here is mine, oh wait, no attachment system on this forum? No DxDiag then. And specially "not a general one across all players." doesn't mean it can be ignored, what kind of response is that? oOAlan Phipps wrote: ↑Mon, 3. Dec 18, 23:39 Investigate what and how?
