Game unmodded, fresh Terran Start.
Fps lag freeze spikes every 10 seconds since i've built a self sustaining shipyard with about 30 L Miners controlled by the station.
At the same time i've finished the Terran and PIO plot,
Cpu is a R9 5900x, fps in open space is 100+, but with the occasional short fps stutters.
FPS are limited to 140fps by the gpu driver.
Soundcard is an old Auzentech X-Fi Forte with adapted original drivers from Daniel_K.
G-Sync compatible activated.
All DLCs, 4.00 HF3.

The polling rate from MSI Afterburner was set to 100ms (lowest possible value).
We see some periodic fps drops and also drop in the GPU power. (1st and 3rd graph row)
The drop is also hearable. The VRMs around the CPU on my mainboard stop doing their coil whine sound which depends on the CPU load. And yes, it's not the GPU coil whine.
It is like the game basically is doing a complete break.

The graph implies the fps go down by 40 fps due to 'slow' polling rate, but in reality it goes down to 0 - ZERO fps - like frozen.
A less severe spike is following 2 seconds after the 'big' one.
