Destroyed station explosion missing?
I was in Tharkas Ravine XV and destroyed a Xenon station but there was no explosion. When the hull reached 0 it was very uneventfully replaced with the destroyed version. It's the frist station I've ever destroyed and it was quite disappointing.

It's only the last remaining module that dies with no explosion; all the other modules before that (assuming there were any) will explode and can do damage to your ships if close enough.
In your case, was this a station under early construction and hence probably just the one low hull module?

Oh, interesting. Do stations get their full name after they're finished building? This station had some weapons on it but it was only called "XEN Xenon Station" and had no docks. The other station nearby said "XEN Xenon Power Plant" (or something similar).Alan Phipps wrote: ↑Sun, 24. Stations get a functional name when they can meet the highest tier appropriate role. They will start off as a construction site or just factory/station until they get the module(s) to meet a (new) role and then the station icon may change too. (This is true even of stations the player is building.)
