Trading station + workforce
I stumbled across an AI trading station with workforce. What's the point?

I mean "what's the point to the AI POV?". AFAIK, workforces only boost production. Trading stations do not produce anything.

As a rule of thumb all AI stations, the ones that the game start with, have habitats, so there is workforce available. Trading Stations are not excempt...Radamanthe Nemes wrote: ↑Mon, 20. The "Research Station" does not produce either, yet likes crew.
Besides, it is not common for stations to be affected by warfare. Someone has to house the refugees ...

It does have an Admin Centre, which by itself produces Marines without any food/medicine or habitat. And the Young Gun starts from thee Equipment Dock on Black Hole Sun IVRadamanthe Nemes wrote: ↑Mon, 20. Mar 23, 19:05...............

Not sure what the problem is here. The trading stations are great sources of high level marines. So maybe that's the 'production'.

The widely accepted definition of "rule of thumb" as a phrase is that is scientifically/observationally imperfect.
