...well, just use all three.

...so, this is my little hunting party. Fly the Asgard myself, just to have proper use of the main gun, and have the other two follow me around. Nothing can harm me - whatever escort that DO get past the Erlking gets fried by the Raptor's 100 beam turrets. One can start in one corner of the sector map, and just destroy everything.

VIG and Terrans do have missiles. Lots of them.

I once flew too close to a SCA station. I had made it mad and it still had Plasma turrets. Too many of them. But that is me -- a bad pilot.

That ... the OP screenshot does not reveal the S/M-compliment of the fleet (except that there are two M and one S).

The Raptor can potentially be somewhat thorny stick. I can't tell, since in my VIG encounter my Flagship Raptor arrived to the sector after the mission had just completed.

Well, one I in the middle will get chewed up pretty fast by the L Erlking and Asgard's L plasma turrets.

But one should keep an eye on the map yes, and swing the death ray in the right direction whenever something big is closing in.

Btw best ship for me ... is morea whith paranid mortars and split mk4 engines and split shield becouse after modifications it fly 1150 plus shield recharge delay is 2.7 second and dammage is enormous and once you learn aiming whith mortars you one shot all s and m ship and can kill all large ship solo except syn due its tank recharge.

Follow up: Well, I just blew up every terran station is all their sectors, using these three ships - got a lot of missile alarms, but never noticed any damage. An enemy Asgard took out the engines of the raptor once, that was all.
