trade-/fightrank - what and how is counting here ?
Hi,
Regarding trade- and fightranks - i am wondering what and how it is counting.
Trades - i guess only ware trades with other fractions counts (selling ships to other fractions is probably excluded)
I found on steam communities a number of 100B (as far as i counted the 0's correctly - is this the needed sales volume for X-treme rank or should my own account reach this rank, or is the 100B just a number, which counts the sales events itself (means trading with S-ships would be the faster way)?
Fight - long time ago i read something about "easy kills", which counts less for the fightrank, but can't find this post anymore.
So basic question - does it matter if i sit in the Erlking and kill just mass of xenon or does it count more when i do this in the hard(er) way in a smaller ship ?
And i know....to get the x-treme fightrank might take a loooong time....
Thanks in advance for any clarification on these topics...
Best regards

Trades is just a huge volume of trades/profit. You can probably optimise your economy to supply everything to all NPC trade station and get there in a couple of days.
What I do not know is if selling NPCs built ships passively using shipyards/wharves counts. Often that ends up your biggest money earner and sink of most of your production. If it does not count then that could explain why it takes a very long time to get the rank.

Pretty much. The amount needed is pretty insane. My Xenon committed suicide and stopped expanding long before I could reach extreme fight rank and that was with me killing only their combat ships that left their sectors with the occasional raid of sectors with huge fleets. Was like 3-4 ranks below X-treme.WoodyAut wrote: ↑Mon, 26. According to the 'stats.xml' file:
Code: Select all
"TRADE RANK" -- X-TREME = 100000000
"gates traversed" -- * 1
"accelerators traversed" -- * 1
"anomalies traversed" -- * 10
"discounts unlocked" -- * 3
"commissions unlocked" -- * 3
"trades executed" -- * 1
"trade value" -- / 10000
"station modules constructed" -- * 100
"staff hired" -- * 1 -- stat not active
"FIGHT RANK" -- X-TREME = 100000
"ships destroyed" -- * 1
"capships destroyed" -- * 30
"modules destroyed" -- * 10
"turrets destroyed" -- * 1
"ships claimed" -- * 10
"ships boarded" -- * 100
"missions completed" -- * 3

Have you seen this STEAM-discussion and the other link I cited there?

Hi Dankara,
Thanks for the link....conclusions are below as far as i were able to collect everything.
Regarding Seta sessions - does anyone have ideas how this inacitvity check is working ? I am not the one who leaves the computer running over night on seta, but waiting for a few minutes to have some station modules built or having seta running while managing the fleet on map happens quite often....
Best regards

Trade: find in save with „zgrep trade_rank save.xml.gz“
100,000,000 needed for X-Treme Trade rank
Actions to get points:
Trade--
Gates traversed x1
Accellerators traversed x1
Anomalies traversed x10
Discounts unlocked x3
Commissions unlocked x3
Trades executed x1
Trades total value /10000 (divide)
Staff hired x1
Station modules constructed x100 (probably not (anymore))
Fight: find in save with „zgrep fight_rank save.xml.gz“
100,000 needed for X-Treme fight rank
Actions to get points:
Fight --
Ships destroyed x1
Cap ships destroyed x30
Turrets destroyed x1
Ships claimed x10
Ships boarded x100
Missions completed x3
SETA Sessions while not doing anything still cause a penalty for inactivity... so, you might end up worse than you were when you started.

Player shipyards/wharfs are very bad at generating trade profit for building trade rank as your support stations do not make profit supplying them. Also ship sales do not count for trade rank. So once you have all the blueprints and a large amount of wealth, disable AI ship purchases from your shipyard/wharfs and supply the AI's shipyards and wharfs instead.

"Ships boarded" does not seem to register. The rest of fight-score follows the hypothesis. At least did in January 2022: viewtopic.php?f=146&t=444540

You have to control the ship that sends in the marines yourself. You cannot just order a second ship to drop marines.jlehtone wrote: ↑Mon, 26. Sep 22, 18:08"Ships boarded" does not seem to register. I personally wish the thresholds, ranks, and reputation gain/loss would be overhauled and more dynamic as well as a new GUI and log to better understand those changes as well as perhaps how close you are from unlocking a reward, perk, penalty or military action against you.
I would increase the 'ranks' as well to accommodate better micro-transactions.

Since these ranks don't feel as significant as in previous X games, I don't need a better documentation on their progress.
