What do the Hyperlink do?.

simple you have a login terminal at your Office, that can interface with a robotic ship you have in a sector
the downside you need a hyperlink network to login with your ship (the hyper satellite that have 100KM radius)

at the terminal you can also assign the legal AI network basic commands like sector mining, sector trading etc.

now the downsize, if your Dumb AI (or basic algorithms) ship fly outside the Hyperlink network the ship connection is lost and become a claimable ship (your loss connection)

I'm not really seeing the point of it though.
Can't we already do that?

Now if we can remotely pilot a ship while staying safe at HQ, that would be real useful and fun.
Though rather than a satellite I'll make it link through XL carriers instead. The carrier can go deliver your ship too. Perhaps even give you a control console on it.
